Unilife GH is a game run by Papa Kwadwo Bona Owusu ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the game collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• Your account. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and a user ID from Google. If you play as a guest we only get a random ID.
• Your game. Your student, progress, settings and saves, so you can continue on any device.
• Online play (when it's switched on). Your student's name and look, where your student is on the campus while you're online, campus chat, private messages, friend and relationship requests, and anything you post to the campus feed. Other players near you can see your student and what you post.
• Purchases. When you buy gems, Paystack handles the payment. We receive the payment reference, amount and status. We never see or store your card or Mobile Money details.
• How the game is used. Google Analytics (through Firebase) records things like your device type, country, which parts of the game you use and for how long. This is used to fix problems and improve the game.
• Feedback and reports. Anything you send with the feedback button, and reports you make about other players.

How we use it

• To run the game, save your progress and keep your purchases.
• To run online campuses, chat and messages.
• To keep players safe: reviewing reports, blocking and removing people who break the rules.
• To understand what players enjoy and fix bugs.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles. In-game billboards are the same for everyone and aren't targeted at you.

Who helps us run the game

• Google Firebase: sign-in, saves, online play and analytics.
• Paystack: payments.
• Our web host (Vercel or Namecheap): serving the website.

These services store data on their own servers, which may be outside Ghana. They only use it to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and game data while you play. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your saves, profile and messages within 30 days. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

• Play as a guest without giving us your email.
• Block or report any player from their profile.
• Ask to see, correct or delete your data: contact us using papakwadwobona@gmail.com.
• You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Age

Unilife GH is made for university students and is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before buying gems.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the game if the change is important.
